The largest kitchen and bath, residential design and construction show in North America recently concluded in Las Vegas, attended by 124,000+ visitors.
With over 1.2 million square feet of exhibition space, Design and Construction Week 2025 — AKA DCW, consisting of the preeminent IBS and KBIS tradeshows — had everything you could desire, except sufficient time to peruse every booth thoroughly, or attend every “favorited” educational sessions.
Although we always plan our show agenda for visits to booths that especially intrigue us, there are always products that accidentally catch our attention as we walk the massive convention center halls.
If you missed the show, fear not! Here are our favorite innovative products from this year’s DCW 2025.

As spring beckons around the corner, many across the nation are relieved that the tumultuous weather events of the last few months are behind them. Jackery has always been a brand trusted by “off grid” enthusiasts, so it’s no surprise that their recent entry into solar roof tiles has been making news.
Consumers can now be the last person on the block to realize that that power is out, since blackouts can become a thing of the past. 8. Lilypad Dehumidifying Paint by Adept Materials

Developed as part of the seminal thesis work of CEO and Founder, Derek Stein, Lilypad is an additive that creates a resistive humidity barrier, when applied to paint in residential construction applications. Adept Materials is focused on advances technological, nanoscience to develop products for home and health that address human safety and health issues. The first product, Lilypad, addresses the problem of indoor humidity in areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, which can lead to mold, mildew, dust mites, bacteria and other biological contaminants.
Lilypad acts as a sponge when added to paint, while the primer layer of a painted surface acts as a resistive barrier. Results have demonstrated a 14% reduction in humidity when testing a humid bathroom, the result of hot showers and inefficient airflow. As humidity rises, the super-absorbent paint draws the moisture from the air and doesn’t release it until the ambient humidity subsides.

Three flavors of their FLIGHT design were used in the 2025 industry showcase house that demonstrated the craftsmanship, ingenuity and engineering of floating stair systems that don’t detract from a home’s beauty.
We were especially impressed with the FLIGHT Cantilever product in the 2025 New American Home, which appeared to float above to the home’s next level with no visible hardware or fasteners to detract from its solid wood beauty.
